Are you looking for an exciting prospect to join a growing company as a Factory Worker specializing in screen printing on glass and ceramics? We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and motivated individual to join our team. As a Factory Worker, you will be responsible for operating various printing and drying machines, picking and packing finished products, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. While a forklift ticket is not required, having one would be beneficial. Computer skills are also preferred, as the role may involve using computer-based systems for certain tasks. Don't worry if you don't have prior experience in screen printing - we provide all the necessary training.
**Responsibilities**:
- Operate screen printing machines and drying equipment to print designs on glass and ceramics.
- Ensure that printing equipment is set up and maintained properly.
- Monitor the printing process to ensure high-quality output and make necessary adjustments when required.
- Pick and pack finished products accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning and tidying printing equipment, tools, and work surfaces.
- Assist in inventory management and stock control activities.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Utilize basic computer skills for tasks such as data entry and tracking daily production records.
**Requirements**:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, ability to lift and move boxes, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift license preferred but not required.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
- Flexible and reliable work attitude.
- Previous experience in screen printing or a related field would be a plus but is not mandatory.
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22 - 38 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
