**Salary**:$78,564 - $111,391 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience)
**Time Fraction**:Full Time, 1.0 EFT.**

**Position Status**:Contract of employment until 31 December 2025.
The Centre for Cyber Security and Digital Information Technology at Holmesglen is dedicated to providing cutting-edge education and training in the rapidly evolving fields of cyber security, digital technologies, and information systems. This faculty plays a key role in preparing students for careers in IT by offering a range of programs that equip them with the skills and knowledge required to tackle real-world challenges in the digital landscape. The faculty is committed to delivering high-quality, industry-relevant courses that ensure students are not only proficient in technical skills but also prepared to address the complexities of modern digital environments.
This is a hands-on and rewarding role where you'll design, develop and deliver training that inspires, using a variety of innovative teaching and assessment methods tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students. You'll also take the lead in developing learning resources and assessment tools that support excellence in delivery. By building strong connections with industry and key stakeholders, you'll ensure our programs remain relevant and impactful. Your collaborative approach and commitment to outstanding student support will also see you actively involved in course coordination and departmental initiatives that contribute to the success of both students and the wider faculty.
**ABOUT YOU**
You're passionate about tech and love sharing your knowledge. You might not have done it all, but you've got experience in areas like networking (CCNA), cloud security (Azure/AWS), or system administration (AD/AAD). Maybe you've worked with Cisco technologies, dabbled in virtualisation, or have a background in penetration testing or cyber security operations. Experience in network security or digital forensics is a bonus too. You're someone who stays curious, keeps up with industry trends, and is keen to help shape the next generation of IT professionals.
- An approved degree, diploma or certificate in a relevant vocational area, or approved equivalent qualifications, at least to the level being delivered and assessed; and
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications.
- Current licences necessary to practice or registration and/or membership of a relevant industry association if applicable.
- Demonstrated ability to research and develop appropriate teaching materials, resources and methods of assessment based on the Principles of Assessment and Rules of Evidence, including the ability to adapt delivery and assessment to meet student needs.
- Demonstrated ability to foster an inclusive, healthy, and safe learning environment that encourages student participation, promotes autonomy, and supports the development of independent learning strategies. Competent in using learner-centred approaches to create a respectful space where students feel supported to take ownership of their learning.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative, practical and theoretical training across a broad range of IT topics (e.g., cyber security, programming, networking, digital systems, software development, game development data analytics, emerging technologies), with a strong understanding of the most up to date technology in one or more of these spaces.
