In this role
We're looking for someone who can confidently operate large and general construction plant equipment, such as Medium Excavators, Skids Steers, Medium Rollers, and/or Trucks, and also get involved in hands‐on road worker duties when needed. In this role, you'll be part of a team (and sometimes working independently), carrying out a mix of machinery operation, labouring tasks, and basic maintenance like safety checks and refuelling.
You'll need to follow WHS and environmental guidelines, manage risks, and help keep work running smoothly by solving routine issues and escalating to managers for any clarifications or concerns. If you're adaptable, safety‐focused, and happy to switch between operating plant and on‐the‐ground roadwork, you'll fit right in.

About You
Your hands‐on skills and safety‐first mindset, developed through experience in civil construction, will see you confidently operate plant, jump into road worker duties, and keep worksites running smoothly and safely. You're recognised as a reliable team player who can switch between machinery and manual tasks with ease, skilled at operating equipment such as a skid‐steer loader, and experienced in following WHS and traffic management requirements to deliver quality outcomes.
You'll bring a current Construction Industry White Card and a Class C driver licence (minimum P1), along with (or willingness to obtain within 3 months) preferably Traffic Controller certifications for Implement Traffic Control Plans and Prepare Work Zones. Most importantly, you're open to gaining any additional licences or tickets needed to support the role and team.
