Contracts Administrator (Facilities & Construction)
Location
Available at Gold Coast or Perth. The role may be based at either location.
Role Summary
Full‐time, hands‐on contract administration and commercial support across facilities, maintenance and construction projects. Reporting to the GM, Facilities & Fleet, the Contracts Administrator ensures contracts are well managed, costs are controlled and documentation is accurate while supporting the successful delivery of projects across a national operational footprint.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer and manage construction and facilities contracts across national projects
* Track cost, variations, claims and payment certifications
* Maintain accurate contract, cost and document control systems
* Support procurement and tender processes
* Identify and escalate contractual and commercial risks
* Coordinate with consultants, contractors and airport stakeholders
* Provide timely reporting to support GM and leadership decision making
Qualifications and Experience
* Demonstrated experience in contract administration within construction, building or facilities environments
* Strong understanding of contract terms, commercial frameworks and project cost management
* Experience managing payment claims, variations and contract documentation
* High attention to detail with strong organisational and record‐keeping capabilities
* Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to identify risks, interpret contracts and provide clear, practical advice
* Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
* Experience with contract or tender management systems (desirable)
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Contracts, Law, Construction Management or a related field (or equivalent experience) (desirable)
* Experience working in complex or regulated environments (e.g. airports, infrastructure, or operational facilities) is highly regarded
