About the role
City of Parramatta are currently seeking skilled and experienced garbage compactor operators to join our growing Waste & Cleansing team, to ensure that Parramatta's Public Domain is maintained and improved to enhance the appearance of our great city
Duties will include:
* Undertaking a variety of tasks required for the successful completion of the functions of the Cleansing Services Team to ensure the long-term management, condition and usability of assets and facilities under the care of the team.
* Operate a variety of plant including garbage compactors.
Adapt to changing priorities and undertake other tasks as directed, to assist other teams and operational areas, particularly in wet weather or other emergencies to meet community needs.

Monday
2:30am – 11:30am
3am – 12:00pm
3am – 12:00pm
2:30am – 11:30am
We are offering a weekly remuneration from $1, Pro Rata) plus 12% superannuation and weekend penalty allowance.
This position may attract additional shift penalties and allowance in accordance with the Local Government Award 2023.
