Our products are sold Australia wide, and we are innovative leaders in design and development of products for the transport sector. The RoleIdeally, you will bring at least 3 years of sales experience in heavy vehicles or related industries, with a proven focus on customer management, networking, and industry engagement. This role will be responsible for developing and diversifying the business in line with financial and volume targets, placing a strong focus on market penetration through sales leads and business development strategies to ensure the capture of new customers. A strong focus on customer and stakeholder relationships and effective time management will be key to the incumbent’s success. We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience: · At least 3 years of experience as a sales professional, including account management, networking acumen, and a customer service focus, ideally in a heavy truck trailer manufacturing environment. · Experience selling capital goods. · Strong knowledge of transport market dynamics and customer needs.· Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and be a team player in the national sales and marketing team.· Proven skills in taking a systematic approach to the sales process with the ability to apply a creative problem- solving approach to customer needs.· Demonstrated ability to identify and correct errors before they become a problem.· Excellent interpersonal skills, with the adaptability to communicate effectively with external and internal stakeholders, Including production staff through to management. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and using technology to streamline sales processes.· Evidence of driving sales growth and securing large contracts.· Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet performance and company targets.
