This award highlights the dedication of our team making Rex a stand out in the competitive aviation market.ResponsibilitiesIndependent and self-reliant: As solo Flight Attendants, you will be responsible for managing the entire cabin independently, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight.Customer-focused: As a solo Flight Attendant you will manage your own cabin and have the opportunity to provide a caring and personalised service, whilst travelling to some of Australia's most unique destinations.Perform equipment/security checks, in-flight announcements, in-flight food & beverage service, cleaning duties, and handle various situations that may occur in the cabin on your own.QualificationsBe 18 years of age or overAustralian Citizenship or Permanent ResidencyBe no taller than 173 cmHold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate - completed within the last 3 yearsBe able to demonstrate that you have:Completed a minimum 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, orWorked in Australia or New Zealand for at least 3 of the last 5 years, orWorked in the UK, Ireland or USA for at least 3 of the last 5 years, orCompleted the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall grade of 5.5.Be able to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) which involves a police security checkBe passionate about your role and a commitment to delivering exceptional and consistent customer serviceBe able to swim fully clothed without aid or floating device (a swim assessment is required)Be adaptable and adaptable; working hours will vary and include working during holiday times and peak periodsHave a high level of personal presentationHave a natural willingness to please and care for peopleWhat we offerThe role offers a great work/life balance along with a competitive remuneration and includes working on weekends, public holidays, shift work (which includes early starts & late finishes), and some nights spent away from home.Extensive training will be provided – flying experience is not required.How to applyTo Apply: Please submit your application via our careers page: must apply via the link above and complete ALL of the screening questions to be considered.
