About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Community Protector - Firefighter to join our team. As a vital member of our community, you will be responsible for providing emergency services and protecting life, property, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake community fire safety work, attending fires and emergencies
* Educate the public on fire prevention and safety through schools, seniors, and local businesses
* Collaborate with emergency services such as Ambulance, Rural Fire Service, and Police
* Participate in training programs to develop firefighting and rescue skills
Requirements
* A team-oriented individual with a strong sense of community focus, adaptability, and reliability
* Availability across weekdays and weekends, including day and night shifts
* A valid NSW Driver's Licence (minimum P1)
* Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency
* Lives near FRNSW Fire Station
