We are looking to recruit Senior Rail Replacement Coordinators to expand our team of highly passionate, customer-focused, and engaging people. As a senior Coordinator, you will conduct audits, provide training and welfare support to our Coordination team members, and ensure the smooth delivery of our rail replacement operations. You will work from various key train stations, supporting road transport operators and providing information to customers to ensure operations run as planned.
Job Duties
Ensure ‘on the ground standards’ meet client expectations.
Maintain high safety standards according to risk assessments and methods of work for each location.
Visit sites to advise on service adjustments considering changing circumstances.
Support operational delivery issues with the Control team, including the use of standby vehicles, and adjust services to maintain punctuality.
Provide weekly feedback on audits and station checks via written reports.
Help maintain safe transfer and customer pick-up/set-down areas on site.
Conduct on-site assessments including uniform, app, and welfare checks, documenting all feedback.
Record service incidents, escalate when necessary, and provide detailed feedback within 48 hours.
Perform spot checks and audits at designated locations.
Train, coach, and mentor current Coordinators.
Support onboarding and training of new Coordinators, including shadow shifts and completing training documentation.
Act as the main contact for station facility owners and client representatives on site to ensure clear communication and safety.
Person Specification
Full and valid driving license.
Previous experience as a Rail Replacement Coordinator.
