Job Opportunity:
This is an exciting position to provide specialist support in the management of scientific equipment and IT hardware, ensuring effective asset management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-level administrative support to a technical services team;
* Manage and maintain accurate records of assets, including inventory, condition, and location;
* Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to identify and implement efficient asset management processes;
* Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to asset management;
* Contribute to the development of a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or information technology, and at least three years' experience in asset and technology management;
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a complex and changing environment;
* High-level interpersonal skills, including the ability to provide quality service and respond promptly and courteously to queries;
* Experience in managing detailed information to a high degree of accuracy, comprehension, and analysis;
* A demonstrated commitment to contributing to the cultural development of a team to achieve outstanding results.
