**About The Role**:
As our new Regional Technical Support, you will play a pivotal role in driving technical excellence across our South Australian workshops. This is an exciting opportunity that will allow you to grow professionally while harnessing your diagnostic expertise to provide robust support and play a key role in the hands-on development of our technical staff.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support workshop team leaders in all locations with the diagnosis of Mercedes Benz, Freightliner and Fuso Trucks in a timely manner
- Identify skills gaps for key areas and build training programs to improve capability
- Partner with suppliers to coordinate training as required
- Work with Velocity Truck Centres training department to deliver training
- Implement work practices in line with skills development while monitoring and reviewing embedded processes
- Ensure development of Apprentices are in line with company and industry expectations
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Technician with sound knowledge of service department operations
- Understanding of products and services necessary to perform duties and tasks as a Heavy Vehicle Technician
- Strong knowledge in repair and maintenance concepts, troubleshooting, repair methods, vehicle technical aspects, tools, and equipment
- Strong focus on customer service and satisfaction
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology - AUR31116 or equivalent
- Cert IV training certificate (highly desirable)
