About the role
As a Care Worker supporting clients in the Chinderrah NSW and surrounding areas, you will be part providing quality care and support to clients in their own homes.
You may assist with a range of tasks pertaining to household cleaning, showering, dressing, food preparation, continence support, medication assistance and transport to name a few. You will also develop genuine connections with your clients and help them live their best possible lives.
What do we need from you?
* You will be a fluent speaker in English and, in addition to home services, be willing to provide weekly social support in a group community setting.
* You will have an unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and a reliable vehicle with Third Party Property Damage Insurance to transport clients.
* You will be a strong communicator with resilience and patience. You will be a proficient user of smartphone technology, apps and email.
* You will have a Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check: A current NDIS Worker Screening Check is required to ensure the candidate is eligible to work with individuals in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
* You will have a valid police check clearance.
* You will have current certifications in CPR and First Aid.
