About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to guide our preschool program and mentor fellow educators in best practice. This is a full-time position that combines teaching, leadership and collaboration in a supportive and welcoming centre.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of our preschool program including the completion of Transition Statements
* Inspire and mentor educators to deliver high-quality, child-centred practices
* Guide curriculum development and reflective practices in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS) and other assessment criteria.
* Foster positive relationships with children, families, educators and the broader school community
* Support children's transition to school in partnership with St Joseph's Catholic College
What We're Looking For:
* A qualified Early Childhood Teacher with a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent). All applicants actively working towards an equivalent degree that are 50% or more completed will be considered.
* Current registration with the NT Teacher Registration Board or ability to obtain
* A nurturing, energetic and collaborative educator with a passion for early learning
* Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills (or a keen interest in developing these)
* Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and inquiry-based learning approaches
* Commitment to contribute to the mission and Catholic ethos of the College
