**Industrial Engineering Opportunity**
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-performing guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing delivery of work packs for the implementation of components of a forging production line. This will involve participating in requirements/design workshops to refine production process design, using information from these workshops to update scopes of work with design requirements and issuing requests for quotation to suppliers. The engineer will also continually liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of purchased items as defined in the scope of work.
An additional key aspect of this role is the management of workpacks comprising multiple packages for delivery for implementation in the forge production process. This involves actively participating in the failure analysis and proposing appropriate corrective actions to ensure the availability of assets and proposing plans for improvement. Other responsibilities include developing test and control plans and procedures for production, assisting with the industrialisation/transfer phase, and launching of production/support and management of the prototype phase.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical/Robotics/Automation Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on forging processes preferred.
* Strong knowledge of industrial engineering principles, process design and optimization techniques.
* Proven capability in conducting root cause analysis of product defects and implementing corrective actions.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
