About the FOH Manager / Assistant Manager Role
We are seeking a motivated FOH Manager / Assistant Manager to join a thriving Italian-style café. In this leadership role, you will guide the front of house team to deliver outstanding customer service, maintain high presentation standards, and create a welcoming café environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, train, and motivate the front of house team during busy service periods
* Manage point of sale operations, cash handling, and daily reconciliations
* Maintain presentation and service standards in line with brand expectations
* Support rostering, staff training, and ongoing development with the Department Manager
* Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and food handling standards
* Foster a customer-first culture, solving issues quickly and professionally
Skills & Experience
* Previous leadership experience in hospitality (café, restaurant, or quick service)
* Strong customer service skills and a hands‐on management style; Barista skills highly regarded, though leadership ability is most important
* Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required
