This is an exciting opportunity to support the implementation and evaluation of our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). We are seeking a highly motivated Executive Projects Manager to provide high-level project management support to the Director of First Nations Strategy and Leadership.
About the Role
This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with the Institute's Executive Leadership Team, researchers, partners and professional support staff to drive strategic initiatives and advocacy, people and team management, coordination of project scopes, reporting requirements and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the Director of First Nations Strategy and Leadership in project related activities including engagement with stakeholders, partners and communities, coordinating and managing the RAP and reporting requirements and ensuring timely delivery of key outputs.
* Providing daily operational people management and support required to ensure the effective implementation of the RAP.
* Preparing and managing expenses, budgets and financial reporting requirements at a project level.
* Preparing consultation documents, stakeholder reports and responses to queries.
* Overseeing legal agreements and contracts with various third parties, including project partners.
The ideal candidate will have experience in providing high-level project management support to a senior leader, supporting and liaising with diverse teams, stakeholders and partners, and demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills.
