The School
Kalamunda Senior High School (SHS) has an enviable reputation developed over 65 years of providing a quality education to all students. The school is proud of its outstanding achievement in the Gifted and Talented Visual Arts specialist program over 45 years, which is complemented by excellence in academic achievement, languages (Italian, Indonesian and Japanese), a specialist program in Outdoor Education, Soccer and Performing Arts (General and Music) and an outstanding music program.
The school offers a welcoming, positive and supportive environment for all staff and students. There is a strong student services team including a Deputy, Program Coordinators, Chaplain, Nurse, School Psychologist and Year Coordinators. The school also has a Learning Centre to support literacy and numeracy development in the school and students with particular learning needs.

The Role
The position is a 12‐month fixed‐term part‐time role commencing Term 1, 2026 with possible permanency. The successful applicant should be an innovative and highly motivated educator with the ability to provide quality teaching in the Indonesian curriculum area as part of a dedicated team. They will ideally have a passion for their curriculum area and a deep understanding of instructional strategies to effectively engage students in the learning process. They should be a reflective practitioner who actively engages in activities to improve their professional practice.
The successful applicant will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be a collaborative member of the whole school community, embracing the school's vision, values and strategic directions. The school offers language courses through to Year 11 and 12; the qualifications to deliver certificate courses is highly desirable.

* Hold an eligible teaching qualification.
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
