Our industry leading client is offering a rare opportunity for experienced Senior or Lead Data Engineers with Databricks design experience to take the next step into a high-impact permanent role.
The Opportunity
Help lead enterprise-wide transformation by architecting scalable, resilient data platforms with Databricks and Azure. You'll go beyond pipelines and performance tuning-you'll shape the strategy, mentor a team, and work directly with stakeholders to build future-ready solutions.
What You'll Be Driving
* Architect and implement robust Databricks data solutions
* Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs
* Lead data engineering best practices across pipelines, models, and flows
* Guide junior engineers and elevate team capability
* Stay at the forefront of modern data architecture-think Lakehouse, Spark, Azure Synapse, and beyond
What You Bring
* Hands-on expertise with Databricks and Spark
* Solid architectural (Medallion architecture) thinking across cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
* Strong grasp of data modeling, governance, and performance
* Programming fluency in Python, SQL, Scala, or Java
* Leadership spirit and a desire to mentor
* Bonus: experience with Azure Data Factory, Power BI, or enterprise migration programs
