A well-established and growing construction company with a strong track record delivering high-quality Class 2 residential apartment projects and premium luxury homes is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team.
With multiple projects underway and a healthy pipeline locked in, this is an opportunity to step into a key leadership role within a collaborative, reputable, and quality-focused business.
You will take ownership of on-site delivery for a Class 2 low- to mid-rise residential project or high-end architectural home, working closely with the Project Manager, CA, Leading Hand, and a stable subcontractor base.
The role involves driving day-to-day site operations, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining program, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
Key Responsibilities Oversee all on-site construction activities across structure, services, and internal fit-out.
Manage Class 2 residential apartment builds typically valued $5M–$40M, as well as occasional high-end standalone homes.
Lead site establishment, program sequencing, short-term planning, and milestone tracking.
Implement and uphold safety, quality, and environmental management systems.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and inspectors to ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor workmanship standards, resolve site issues, and support design/constructability integration.
Build strong, respectful working relationships with internal teams, clients, consultants, and project partners.
Experience Needed Minimum 2 years' experience as a Site Manager or Foreman within Class 2 residential construction.
Strong ability to read drawings, understand construction sequencing, and manage multiple trades.
Solid knowledge of residential methodologies, services coordination, and finishing/detailing requirements.
A hands-on, proactive, and well-organised approach to site leadership.
