Drive Sales Growth and Revolutionise the Red Meat Industry


About the Role:

This newly created role is a remote opportunity with a preference for candidates based in Queensland. The position reports directly to the Head of Sales - ANZ and is ideal for driven strategic business development professionals.

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding the company's footprint within the red meat industry. This position focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and developing relationships with both existing and prospective clients.

The role requires managing the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals. Additionally, you will be involved in developing tailored sales strategies and supporting the sales team with strategic insights to position products in the market.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

* Identifying and engaging potential clients, generating leads, and driving new business opportunities.
* Conducting market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
* Presenting products and services to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition.
* Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
* Managing and growing a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate reporting.
* Leading contract negotiations, closing deals, and maintaining positive client relationships.
* Analysing sales data and performance metrics to improve efficiency and track success.


Requirements:

2+ years of proven success in business development, preferably within a startup or scale-up environment.

Experience selling technical solutions or software, with an understanding of the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.

A results-driven mindset with a demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets.

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with various stakeholders and negotiate effectively.

Confident in analysing data to identify key insights and effectively distilling key information to present to clients.

Familiarity with CRM systems for lead management and tracking sales performance.

A passion for the red meat industry, with a desire to learn and contribute to growth.
