The Role
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Officer to work full-time in our aged care home at The Views in Heidelberg. As a Maintenance Officer, some of your responsibilities will include:
* Maintain a safe and attractive living environment to suit the needs of the residents
* Identify and prioritise resident needs to create a more home like environment
* Assist the Manager - Property in the selection of trades people to undertake specific tasks
* Maintain a planned preventative program along with ensuring documentation requirements are met
* Attend to the maintenance of buildings, ground and utilities in line with the schedule
About you
We're looking for someone with:
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a trade
* Experience in identifying standards as they relate to the provision of building maintenance
* A customer service focus with the ability to provide solutions
* Electronic Maintenance Management system experience
* A commitment to continuous improvement that enhances resident lives
