About This Role

The Senior Security Architect is an advanced subject matter expert, responsible for creating strategies and architectural visions for complex solutions that address clients' needs. This role provides multi-technology consulting services on all aspects of security software, infrastructure, cloud services, and related technology components.

* Act as a technology security SME that understands the threat landscape, architectural models, and solutions.
* Take customer technical, financial, and business requirements into consideration to recommend optimal security solutions.
* Perform security solution workshops, solution demonstrations, and Proof-of-Value engagements using OEM partner products and services.
* Support security consulting pre-sales work, including writing Statements of Work (SoWs), proposals, etc.
* Support RFPs and large bids as a security SME working jointly with multiple stakeholders.
* Act as a Trusted Advisor to clients on Cybersecurity domain issues.
* Participate in knowledge sharing with team members.
* Work with current sales specialists from security to accelerate platform adoptions.
* Develop and/or enhance security reference architecture for clients in key verticals such as BFSI, Public Sector, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.
* Stay current with international security standards, best practices, and in-country security regulations.
* Contribute to the development of complex solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure, or functional areas.
* Identify and evaluate alternative architectures, considering trade-offs in cost, performance, and scalability.
* Produce specifications of cloud-based or on-premises components, tiers, and interfaces, for translation into detailed designs using selected services and products.
* Support change programs or projects through the preparation of technical plans and application of design principles that comply with enterprise and solution architecture standards.
* Create multiple design views to address stakeholder concerns and handle both functional and non-functional requirements.
* Review, verify, and improve own designs against specifications.
* Makes recommendations for the development of new go-to-market services and contributes knowledge on relevant verticals.
* Operate across both technical levels within the enterprise architecture and the value chain to develop holistic and integrated solutions.
* Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced Solutions Architects.

What Makes You a Great Fit?

This role requires at least 7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity pre-sales and architect roles, with hands-on experience with security solutions from Tier-1 Security OEMs. Additionally, you should have experience designing solutions aligned to Australian Information Security Frameworks and Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and intelligence in developing solutions to customer problems.
* You must have good presentation skills to present to audiences of both business and IT stakeholders.
* A strong track record in delivering consultancy projects to all sizes of organizations is essential.

Required Experience:

Possess at least 7-10 years of working experience related to cybersecurity pre-sales and architect roles, with hands-on experience with security solutions from Tier-1 Security OEMs.

Key Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or business, or a related field.
* Certification and working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, SABSA, ITIL, COBIT, etc.).
* Experience working for a Systems Integration in a pre-sales capacity will be an added advantage.
