Our team is looking for a dedicated Sales Representative to join a renowned food services distributor in Alice Springs.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales and margin targets across a designated territory.
* Take full accountability for territory performance – protecting base sales, driving basket growth, optimising margins, and winning new business.
* Promote our unique product and service offerings to grow customer partnerships.
* Use data to plan, monitor, and target sales objectives effectively.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to support growth and retention.
* Develop structured business plans to ensure customer retention and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Drive compliance with all legislative and company requirements.
Requirements
* Strong sales background with proven results, ideally in food service or related industries.
* High-impact communication skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
* Commercially astute, self-motivated, and target-driven.
* Strong time management, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
* Comfortable using digital tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
* Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently.
* Experience as a former chef will also be considered.
