Star Aviation are Australia's most dedicated ground handling service, partnering with over 20 airlines across ten airports Australia-wide.
We are currently seeking part-time Accounts Payable Officer to support our national operations. Reporting to the CFO, the Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for processing and recording of accounting operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Management and reconciliation of all accounts payable matters
- Assistance with month end reconciliation and reporting
- Process expense claims, accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Provide ad-hoc reports as requested by Finance, HR and Safety
- Other duties to do with the accounting function of Star Aviation as requested by your Manager
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Prior experience with accounts payable and receivable processing
- Experience using Xero accounting software
- Sound accounting skills and proficient in the use of financial accounting software
- Advanced skills in MS Excel
**Competencies and Skills**:
- Fluent in English, excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to be organised, prioritise work, and manage timeeffectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to follow standard administrative practices and guidelines.
