The Country Liberal Party is seeking a politically savvy, forward‑thinking leader who can inspire and drive strategic growth, strong governance and organisational professionalism across our member‑based organisation.
This is a part‑time (0.4 FTE) leadership opportunity, well suited to someone with demonstrated experience managing organisational change, and who brings credible leadership and strong executive presence.

The ideal candidate will be confident engaging with diverse stakeholders, skilled at navigating fast‑paced, dynamic environments, and capable of balancing competing demands while maintaining clear strategic focus.
Key responsibilities
· Leading the office and Secretariat functions of the Party
· Ownership of organisational governance
· Provide strategic executive advice to Management Committee
· Provide high level advice to members (eg. Constitutional)
· Act on any advice from key stakeholders such as NTEC and AEC
· Develop clear, measurable KPIs and outcomes for Secretariat roles
· Direct line manager to various roles, including Executive Officer/Campaign Director
What you’ll bring
· Senior executive or CEO-level leadership experience
· Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and influencing skills
· Well-developed organisational and analytical skills
· Excellence in stakeholder engagement, judgement and management
· Prior experience working to a management committee or Board
· Financial knowledge or experience with contemporary financial governance practices
· Strategic thinker capable of balancing long-term impact with performance
· Ability to inspire confidence and command respect in high-level environments
· Understanding and commitment to the CLP platform, philosophy and constitution
· Awareness and understanding of the Northern Territory political landscape

· Part-time, 0.4FTE with hours and days flexible
· 12 month plus 12 month contract
