About the roles
Assistant Director
St Nicholas Early Education supports and partners with families to nurture and inspire children as they develop the skills to flourish at home, in care and in communities.
The Assistant Director will assist and support the Director in management tasks and lead educators towards quality performance in all aspects at St Nicholas. The Assistant Director will also be responsible for the Operation and Management of the St Nicholas service in the absence of the Director.
Educational Leader
The role of Educational Leader will require you to lead the development and implementation of the Educational Program and Practice in the St Nicholas Service. You will have access to leadership and support on emerging trends impacting the sector through our support office team.
Your day-to-day work will involve motivating, supporting and mentoring educators through engagement in professional conversations and critical reflection, hands-on learning, and professional development opportunities. You will empower and support others to build capacity for continuous improvement and work with educators to develop engaging and inspiring learning environments that are inclusive of all children.
These roles are being offered on a permanent full- time basis, located at our Forster centre.
Skills and Experiences:
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
Demonstrated understanding of NQF, EYLF & child protection requirements
Proven ability to mentor, support, and motivate educators
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
QUALIFICATIONS
* Degree in Early Childhood Teaching or Diploma in Children's Services as identified by Australian Children's Education and care Authority
* Working With Children Check verification number
* Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
* Approved child protection training certificate
