On behalf of our clients who operate in the Australian Defence sector I am currently looking for multiple experienced
Organisational Change Management (OCM) professionals from the Senior Consultant level right up to the Senior Manager level who hold a current Security clearance of NV1 or above.
You would be joining a leading consulting team supporting large-scale Defence programs in Canberra. This role involves driving the successful adoption of new systems, processes & ways of working within complex, high-security environments. You will work closely with Defence stakeholders, program managers & multidisciplinary teams to ensure people and culture are at the centre of project delivery.
General Responsibilities
Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that support program objectives and stakeholder engagement
Conduct change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis & readiness reviews to identify areas requiring focused attention
Design and deliver communication, training, and engagement activities that drive awareness and adoption
Partner with leadership teams to guide and embed cultural and behavioural change across program workstreams
Contribute to program governance and reporting, ensuring alignment between technical delivery and organisational outcomes
Mentor junior team members and support continuous improvement of change management frameworks and methodologies
About you
Proven experience delivering end-to-end change management across major Defence OR Federal Government transformation programs
Strong understanding of Defence culture, structures & governance processes
Ability to manage stakeholder relationships across senior levels, providing trusted advice and influence in complex environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical program goals into meaningful outcomes for people
Completed a bachelor's degree or higher
Formal qualifications in change management, psychology, communications or a related discipline are highly regarded
NV1 or above security clearance (or higher)
