The role As a driven Project Manager you will report directly to the Managing Director and will run small to medium Tier 3 commercial projects, with the support of a solid team of Site Managers and labourers reporting directly to you. You will be given the support of savvy contract administrators on site, as well as a site team, for the delivery of mixed fit out and refurbishments schemes up to $10 million. The role requires liaising with subcontractors, site teams, and clients as well as writing reports and monitoring the Budgets. This role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to a broad variety of repeat clients to the business, some government authorities operating in the GC21 space and others in the facilities management and office refurb space. These projects coupled with the reputation of this Tier 3 Builder will make a healthy addition for the successful person's professional development and career growth. Ideal applicants will have worked for a similar business in Australia, for an Australian recognised building contractor and must have a can do proactive attitude, with the ability to find solutions to issues that arise, multi tasking and thinking on your feet. The fit out environment is fast paced, so you will need to work to time frames and show the utmost professionalism with clients, subcontractors and peers.
