Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the maintenance and repair of our fleet of trucks and trailers.
Main Responsibilities
* Maintain and repair fleet vehicles in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance.
* Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly, maintaining a safe and efficient fleet.
* Coordinate with external vendors for repair services and specialized maintenance, negotiating fair prices and ensuring high-quality workmanship.
* Manage and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs, providing valuable insights for future improvements.
* Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
* Address and fulfill drivers' equipment needs and service requests, providing exceptional customer service and support.
* Order and manage inventory of truck and trailer parts, optimizing stock levels and minimizing waste.
* Support compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety and responsibility within the team.
