About the role:
The Graphic Designer is an integral member of the Marketing team, responsible for delivering high‐quality creative across Helloworld Travel's retail and wholesale brands, including Helloworld, Viva Holidays, and Cruiseco.
This role supports the full creative lifecycle – from concept development to final production across print and digital channels. Key outputs include brochures, campaign collateral, brand assets, and ad‐hoc design requirements that support marketing initiatives and business objectives.
Key Result Areas:
* Delivery of high‐quality creative work within agreed timelines
* Consistency and adherence to brand standards
* Effective collaboration with Marketing, Partnerships, and external suppliers
* High level of accuracy in preparing artwork for production
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Campaign & Creative Development
* Collaborate closely with the Marketing Team to design, develop, and execute creative for integrated campaigns
* Translate briefs into compelling visual concepts that align with brand strategy, project objectives, and audience insights
* Ensure consistency across all visual communications, maintaining brand guidelines across multiple channels
Design Production & Delivery
* Produce finished artwork for both print and digital formats, ensuring accuracy, technical excellence, and timely delivery
* Prepare design assets using Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant tools
* Coordinate artwork and production requirements with external suppliers, including printers, agencies, and freelancers
* Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritising effectively within deadlines
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
* Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless campaign execution
* Participate actively in team discussions, contributing creative ideas and solutions
* Represent Helloworld Travel Limited professionally at external meetings and industry functions when required
Quality & Compliance
* Maintain a high standard of accuracy, attention to detail, and quality control across all creative output
* Uphold company values and adhere to all organisational policies, ensuring a respectful and inclusive workplace
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
* Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or a related field
* Demonstrated experience in a Graphic Designer role, preferably within a marketing or creative services environment
* High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
* Strong conceptual and visual design ability with a proven portfolio
* Experience preparing artwork for print
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Desirable
* Experience in travel, tourism, or retail‐focused design environments
* Familiarity with digital content production (eDMs, web assets, social content)
* Basic motion or video editing skills
