Support a Fishing Program for People with Disabilities
Many organizations provide accessible fishing opportunities to cater to diverse needs. Our Albany program operates across the State, allowing individuals with disabilities to participate in recreational fishing.
* Attend fishing events and help set up;
* Assist participants during fishing activities;
* Pack down equipment after each event.
Volunteers are required to commit approximately 3 hours on fishing days. We welcome both male and female volunteers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet fishers and their support workers upon arrival;
* Provide assistance during fishing activities;
* Help pack down equipment after each event;
* Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Time Commitment: Approximately 3 hours per fishing day.
Target Group: Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are welcome, particularly those who enjoy working outdoors and helping others.
