About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our vibrant community. As Manager Capital Works, you will lead our capital works team and be responsible for:
* Traveling to and throughout the Torres Strait Islands
* Providing strategic and operational leadership in project management
* Ensuring compliance with statutory and contractual requirements
* Researching and recommending products, equipment, and systems to improve safety and performance
* Actively seeking funding opportunities and developing business cases
Qualifications and Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
* Strong experience in end-to-end capital works project management
* Project management qualifications highly desirable
* C class Driver's Licence (Provisional or higher)
* Proven leadership skills and staff management experience
* High-level communication skills
About the Package
* $135k - $145k per annum
* Based in Cairns or the Torres Strait Region
* Long-term, 3-year contract with possibility of extension
* Excellent remuneration package with up to 18% superannuation contributions
