Spatial Services, a division of the Department of Customer Service is the key provider of spatial land information services in New South Wales.
Spatial Services' integrated framework connects the people of NSW to a comprehensive package of land and property services including property information, surveying and mapping.
Spatial Services' provides land information services to individuals, businesses, government agencies and non-profit organisations throughout NSW, Australia and internationally.
About the role:
The Team Leader Cadastral Development will manage and coordinate team operations supportingthe sourcing, maintenance, presentation and exchange of spatial and related information to achievethe required program outcomes in line with organisational objectives.
As the business lead for improving the accuracy of the Digital Cadastral Database, the team leaderis responsible for digitisation activities and quality assurance, along with sourcing external
cadastral datasets, undertaking historic searches and analysis of survey plans and implementing
complex and large-scale upgrade projects for the mapping of NSW land parcels.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Substantial knowledge of the NSW cadastral and land titling systems and processes
* Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in spatial information management
* Experience leading and managing a team
* Strong communication and customer relation skills
* The ability to be flexible and adaptable to both a changing environment as well as priorities
* The ability to solve problems and collaborate with others toward a common vision
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of current information technologies employed in capturing and managing spatial information
Salary Grade 9/10, with the base salary for this role starting at $125,693 base plus superannuation
