Due to the exponential growth and diversification of our business, we are seeking a driven, autonomous and capable Development Manager (DM) to join our Development division!
Expectations of the role
* Conduct feasibility analysis and secure internal approvals.
* Oversee town planning and regulatory approvals.
* Appoint and manage consultant teams across disciplines.
* Drive project delivery strategies, ensuring cost, time, and quality targets are met.
* Navigate and negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and stakeholder agreements.
* Manage project budgets, cost planning, claims and contractor payments.
* Lead tender processes and negotiate D&C contracts.
* Foster strong relationships with consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in residential and/or mixed use developments.
* Tertiary qualification in urban design, planning, engineering, property development, property economics, construction, financial or client-side project management discipline or related industry.
* Strong verbal and written communication abilities, initiative, high level of organisation skills.
* Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
* Experience in management of end to end life cycle of projects, from inception to delivery.
* Experience in residential development and project marketing is favourable.
* Highly skilled in feasibilities.
