The Role:
As the Clinical Lead Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in engaging with stakeholders and partners to cultivate strong relationships and contribute to policy development. Your leadership will be instrumental in preparing for the expansion of a team of psychologists once the service is fully operational.
Your responsibilities will include mentoring and supervising these psychologists, fostering a culture of collaboration, professional excellence, and continuous improvement within the organization. Your initial focus will involve working with NDIS clients, providing neurodiversity-affirming assessment and support services to facilitate their goal achievement and overall well-being.
As the service evolves to include support for children in care, you will have the opportunity to broaden your scope and cater to a wider range of individuals in need.
In the long term, you will have the flexibility to maintain a caseload while taking on managerial responsibilities or transition into a purely strategic role, aligning with your career aspirations and preferences.
Additionally, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of current policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of service delivery and efficiency.
Requirements:
* Registered Psychologist with AHPRA
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Psychology
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Knowledge of NDIS framework and ethical guidelines
* Ability to work collaboratively and engage with stakeholders effectively
