About the Position
Our institution is seeking an academic staff member to teach and contribute to postgraduate psychology programs. The appointee will develop curriculum, coordinate subjects, deliver high-quality teaching, assess student learning, provide academic support, and manage administrative responsibilities effectively.
The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues to deliver an exceptional student experience, focusing on clinical placements. They will also engage in scholarly activity relevant to the advancement of learning and teaching in this discipline or professional area.
Key Requirements
* A PhD or Masters degree or equivalent accreditation and standing recognised by our institution/profession as appropriate for the relevant discipline area.
* Professional qualification and experience, including full registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and approval as a supervising psychologist at the higher degree program level by the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA).
* Demonstrated ability to be effective in teaching and curriculum development in face-to-face, blended and/or online modes.
* Demonstrated ability to engage with and produce outputs related to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning or program improvement more generally.
