About the Role
This highly independent position is responsible for fault response and maintenance activities within the gas distribution network, in line with ATCO Gas Australia's Asset Management Plan and relevant policies and procedures.
What You Will Do
* Respond to faults and emergencies across the network.
* Perform residential and commercial meter changes, reconnects/disconnects, leak detection, and compliance checks.
* Operate machinery, equipment, and tools safely and in accordance with ATCO procedures.
* Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders to minimize disruption.
* Participate in the 24/7 On-Call Roster as scheduled.
* Build strong relationships with contractors, stakeholders, and other networks.
What You Will Bring
* Energy Safety Class G Gas Fitting Licence and a current C Class Driver's Licence.
* Experience in installation and maintenance of gas appliances.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with customers, contractors, and the community.
