About the role
The Partner, Culture and Engagement plays a key role in delivering DCITHS’ culture, inclusion and engagement priorities. This role is specifically responsible for the hands‑on delivery of programs, plans and activities that embed inclusive practices, foster a sense of belonging, and strengthen engagement across the department.
Working in partnership with various stakeholders including leaders, the broader People & Capability team and employee networks, this role will support delivery of initiatives across key priority areas including disability, LGBTIQA+ and CALD inclusion. It requires someone passionate about operationalising inclusion frameworks and turning strategy into meaningful action on the ground.
About you
You’re an experienced OD professional who thrives in environments where you can combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, and you are motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a safe, inclusive, engaged and values-driven workplace.
You will bring knowledge of contemporary organisational development theories and practices to the role, with previous experience designing and delivering evidence-based culture or inclusion programs and initiatives that strengthen culture and support a positive employee experience.
You have well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages, prepare clear documentation and facilitate training or presentations.
With strong project and program management capability, you have experience coordinating multiple deliverables in a dynamic and evolving environment. Your approach is proactive, collaborative and outcomes‑focused, enabling you to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and influence inclusive practice across the organisation.
Essential requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in human resources, organisational psychology, organisational development, and/or equivalent professional experience
