The Opportunity
Working with major Australian and global clients, you will advise across the full spectrum of competition, consumer law and regulatory work, including:
* Merger clearances and transactional competition advice
* Strategic advisory work across joint ventures, vertical arrangements, market power issues and pricing conduct
* Cartel and behavioural investigations, ACCC inquiries and immunity applications
* Competition and consumer litigation and regulatory enforcement, including misleading or deceptive conduct and unfair contract terms matters
You will work closely with highly regarded partners and collaborate across offices on complex, high‐profile matters that sit at the cutting edge of Australian and global competition and consumer law.
About You
As a strategically growing practice on a strong trajectory, the team is open to speaking with lawyers at all stages of their careers – from around 2 years' PQE through to 10+ years' PQE.
You will ideally have:
* Experience gained within a reputable competition, consumer or regulatory practice
* Exposure to merger control, enforcement, investigations, behavioural or consumer law disputes
* Excellent drafting, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills
* A collaborative approach and enthusiasm to work on complex, intellectually challenging matters
