The perioperative suite has recently undertaken a management restructure to better align the leadership team to continue to support the ongoing department growth.
Calvary Adelaide Perioperative leadership team are excited to announce the role of scrub/scout Clinical Manager.
This role is a full time permanent position.
About you
The Clinical Manager is actively involved in the initiation, planning, design, implementation, management and evaluation of the unit/wards to which appointed at Calvary Health Care. The Clinical Manager liaises with all Hospital Services to facilitate the ongoing development of unit based activities and resources that influence the continual development and maintenance of standards of safe practice and the delivery of comprehensive and cost effective nursing care
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and management for the Scrub/Scout Team
Commitment to excellence in quality perioperative nursing care
Governance of practice in adherence to relevant standards, guidelines and policy
Resource management including procurement and human resources
Participate and contribute to the Procedural Areas Leadership Team
What you bring
Registered as a Nurse with the Nurses Board of South Australia and holds a current Practising Certificate with no restrictions.
Demonstrated Clinical expertise in the Scrub/Scout area.
Demonstrated experience in resource and cost management.
Experience in human management principles including rostering, performance management and team development.
A desire to work as part of a team committed to exceptional clinical care standards and embrace chance management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and experience in liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders
Experience in Quality Assurance and Improvement practices
