Our OpportunityWork Location: Cloudbreak – located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoplesRoster: 14D/14R - FIFO ex Perth, Busselton, Broome, Karratha, Port Hedland, Fitzroy Crossing and KununurraCloudbreak is seeking a Roller Technician to maintain, replace and align conveyor rollers (idlers), ensuring safe and efficient operation of conveyor systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect, maintain and replace conveyor rollers (idler sets)
* Identify and rectify seized, damaged or misaligned rollers
* Maintain roller frames, stands and associated components
* Perform preventative maintenance on conveyor roller systems
* Support shutdown and breakdown works focused on rollers
* Monitor conveyor performance and identify roller-related faults
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and site procedures
* Work closely with maintenance teams to optimise reliability
Qualifications And Experience
* Relevant mechanical trade qualification (or similar experience)
* Proven experience with conveyor rollers and idler systems
* Strong fault-finding skills on rotating equipment
* Experience in mining or heavy industry environments
* Understanding of conveyor systems (roller-focused)
* Ability to work autonomously and within a team
* Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
