As part of our supportive and skilled Perioperative team, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of the perioperative patients in a competent and professional manner. This role will enable you to rapidly expand your nursing skills with exposure to a range of areas including PACU, Scrub/Scout and Anaesthetics. Your days will always be dynamic and engaging.
Salary is dependent on experience with a base salary range of RN Grade 2 Year 2 $71,292 – Year 8 $95,368 plus 11% superannuation and extensive salary packaging options.

What you need:
8. Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse.
9. Minimum 2 years acute nursing experience and some experience in Surgical or Perioperative nursing is required.
10. Demonstrated competence in acute and/or surgical nursing including understanding and experience in clinical handover, escalation of care and patient education.
11. A sound understanding of the functions and responsibilities of the perioperative nurse including care of the unconscious patient.
