Reporting to the National Account Manager, this role supports the delivery of our customer brand strategy. Working across all bakery segments alongside our key retail partners the initiatives include private label product development, product improvement and packaging update projects. You will be part of a team that collaborates with multiple internal and external stakeholders to manage the product life cycle within the Tip Top business. This role sits within the sales function.
Purpose of the Role
- Implementing the Customer Brands strategy via assisting with development of long-term customer NPD plans
- Support/lead and/or manage innovation, packaging updates and product development projects across all bakery segment within Private Label
- Build relationships with internal cross-functional teams, retail customers and external agencies to optimise and execute delivery of plans
- Build strong knowledge of market performance and understanding of private label brands, engaging the company, agencies and retail partners in the delivery of growth
- Track and maintain the team budget.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in business or commerce or similar with a marketing focus
- 1- 2 years' experience in customer engagement, shopper activation or POS activation. Alternatively, a project management background in FMCG or Field Sales in activation
- Proficient in PowerPoint & Excel and willingness to learn internal and external retailer systems (SAP, OPAL, APP)
- Demonstrate an understanding of business financials
- Pro-activity in initiating solutions and activity ideas, then taking ownership to execute these ideas within the team
- Enthusiastic and passionate, championing customer brands throughout the business
- Project management experience - tracking and meeting deadlines
