**About the Company**
A small and relatively young company seeking the right employee to help move us forward. We work in the Trenchless Technology industry, servicing and repairing push rod cameras, robotic crawlers, jetters, associated controllers, monitors and electronics.
**About the Role**
The Electronics Technician will be responsible for servicing and repairing common faults on equipment, as well as identifying faults in more complex electronic equipment. They will need to be able to test and identify faulty components at the board level, and have an exceptional attention to detail when it comes to their quality of work, and record keeping.
**About you**
A certificate iii or above in electronics is desired, however not necessary if experience and/or knowledge can be demonstrated.
Proven experience with electronics diagnostic and repair equipment, such as a multimeter and soldering iron is desired.
Working knowledge of basic electronic circuitry is desired.
Ability to work within a team and independently.
Ability to communicate effectively with external stakeholders using competent written and verbal methods.
Strong time and priority management ability.
A strong attention to detail and pride in your work is essential.
**Skills**
- Experience in a service/repair environment, focused on electronics and/or mechanical assembly and test.
- An ability to test electronic modules, record results and analyze results and determine needs for repair/replacement.
- A focus on high quality, precision and attention to detail and a willingness to learn the products in a specialist industry.
- Basic computer skills, including excel, outlook and processing software.
- The business will consider any experience level, from junior through to more experienced technicians.
