About this opportunity:
Support and empower our growing client base by joining our community nursing team to provide care that improves health outcomes for our Veteran (DVA) community living at home throughout Perth's Mandurah / Dudley Park Suburbs and surrounds. This is a great way to experience work-life balance in a friendly, supportive, and progressive team environment.
Shifts commence at 8.00am Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends shared amongst the team. You will be required to assist clients with personal care, light domestic assistance, and shopping. To be considered for this role, you must have availability for a minimum of 3 shifts per week, Monday to Friday.
You will need to visit multiple clients in different locations during your shift. It is essential you have your own vehicle, as there may be a wide travel radius.
This is a casual position with the opportunity to build your roster. You will be paid for the entire shift, with a 99c per km allowance for travel between clients.
Reporting to the Clinical Manager and guided by Registered Nurses, you will receive support throughout your work in the community care sector.
What we require:
Minimum 6 months experience in a comparable role
Cert III in Aged, Disability, or Community Care
Your own fully insured, reliable vehicle
Current Drivers Licence
Covid Vaccinations (essential for work in the Aged Care sector)
National Police Check (within the last 12 months)
Current Working with Children Check
Current First Aid/CPR certification
Passport/Birth Certificate (proof of working rights)
