**About the role**:
Our client is seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join their Finance team. This role offers the opportunity to manage end-to-end payroll for approximately 300 employees, including support staff and supported employees under the Services Award. With a focus on maintaining Sage Micropay, the Payroll Officer will play a key role in ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance with modern awards, and efficient processing.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Process all fortnightly pays and related processes and payments.
- Maintain payroll system for legal compliance and data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory payroll requirements.
- Analyse and improve payroll processes for efficiency.
- Resolve payroll queries and errors promptly.
- Administer records and meet audit requirements.
