Knight Frank Central Coast is a small, supportive team backed by a global property network. We’re looking for a capable, hands-on Finance Coordinator who can work independently, stay organised, and keep our operations running smoothly. This role ideal for someone skilled and confident, without needing to be at senior level, with an interest in real estate and an understanding of AML compliance.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance & Administration Manager you’ll oversee finance, payroll, and some general office administration and IT coordination. You’ll be the go-to person for accurate financial reporting, payroll, and day‑to‑day operational support within the Central Coast business.
We are seeking someone full time, however, would consider 4 days per week. Training will be conducted from our Newcastle Office, and there will be regular travel to Newcastle, at least one day per week.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare monthly and ad‑hoc financial reports
· Manage accounts payable/receivable
· Process monthly payroll in Xero
· Support onboarding, by liaising with recruitment and entering new starter information into the system
· Oversee administration and quality assurance
· Oversee trust accounting
· Ensure statutory, taxation, and AML compliance
· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and business planning
What You Bring
· Experience with payroll and financial processes
· Strong Xero and Microsoft Office skills
· Understanding of ATO compliance and lodgments
· Knowledge of insurance and payroll
· General IT literacy
· Experience with accrual accounting
· Finance qualifications (Cert IV/Diploma/Degree) highly regarded
· Ability to work independently, use initiative, and ask the right questions
· Strong organisation, accuracy, and follow‑through
