Job title: BFT Kids Club and Facility Assistant
Reporting to:Studio Manager
Hours: Casual or part-time, 10 hours per week (Mon - Fri am)

We are a welcoming and inclusive Group Training Studio in Wangaratta, delivering industry leading training as part of the BFT International network. Our community is everything to us, and we offer a safe and friendly training space for people of all fitness levels and backgrounds. We offer supervision of children during our 9.30am sessions Mon - Fri, so busy parents of young children can train without worrying about what their kids are doing.
Purpose of the position
To supervise children during our 9.30am sessions Mon - Fri (note this is not a paid childcare service for our members) and assist with specific Studio tidying / cleaning tasks after the session has finished.
Responsibilities and duties
1 – Supervise children during 9.30am BFT sessions with tasks such as:
* Setting up for the sessions
* Greeting members, getting to know them and their children
* Supervising children, either with an additional adult or on your own (depending on numbers)
* Alerting parents if assistance is required to settle a child
* Packing up / cleaning the kids area after sessions
3 – Facility Assistant
* Assist Studio Manager to maintain excellent Studio appearance with tasks such as:
* Cleaning showers / sinks
* Vacuuming, dusting, cleaning equipment
* Topping up complimentary towels and toiletries
Qualifications
Essential qualifications:
* Working with Children Check
* First Aid Certificate (or willingness to complete qualification)
Desirable qualifications / experience:
* Qualification / experience working with or caring for young children
Personal qualities and behavioural traits
Essential qualities or behaviours:
* Friendly, welcoming manner, with a passion for people (and kids)
* Willingness and desire to work as part of a team and maintain excellent presentation standards
Relationships
Details of relationships relevant to this role:
* This role will work closely with the Studio Manager and Studio Owners as required (Henry and Sheree)
