Your New Role:
One of our Federal Healthcare sector clients is looking for a Principle Business Analyst who is an Australian Citizen and has experience working in the healthcare industry and can help the client achieve its goals and vision.
The Lead Business Analyst accountable under broad direction to perform overly complex work that provides detailed technical and professional business analysis, system analysis, and design changes that align with the vision and strategic direction of the client.
They will exercise a considerable degree of independence and perform a leadership role working closely with stakeholders across the Agency to gain an in-depth understanding of business processes, technical infrastructure, technical services, strategic roadmap, and in the context in which the client operates.
It’s an initial 6-month contract with another 6 months extension attached along with it.

Reporting to senior management, the Lead Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Clients health standards. With a focus on providing detailed technical and professional business analysis, system analysis, and design changes, the successful candidate will align their work with the agency's vision and strategic direction. 4. Leading the analysis of business needs across a complex portfolio of initiatives.
5. Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of business processes, technical infrastructure, and strategic roadmap.
6. Recommending strategic directions and considering wider agency implications when making decisions.
7. Providing expertise in digital health standards activities and contributing to innovation and business improvement strategies.
8. Managing competing priorities and strategic directions to achieve team planning and project outcomes.
Skills and Experience Required:
To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate:
9. Extensive experience in business analysis and project coordination, preferably in the healthcare or government sector.
10. Have about 8 + years of Senior Business Analyst experience.
11. Strong leadership skills and the ability to take ownership of outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
12. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
13. Proven ability to work with a level of independence, under broad direction, and make decisions based on professional judgment.
14. A proactive approach to risk assessment and management, with the ability to identify and address complex issues.
Essential requirements:
• Must have the ability to apply for Baseline clearance.
• Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
