The Role
We are currently seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable HR professional to a team as a Specialist Recruitment Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for performing the services outlined below, as well as other duties assigned by the Agency.
Specific duties will include:
5. Interpret and apply legislation in a government context, specifically in the areas of IT business management, technology management, and IT service and support.
6. Undertake bulk strategic recruitment activities in the aforementioned IT fields.
7. Engage and consult with stakeholders effectively, understanding their business requirements and strategic objectives.
8. Drive and deliver end-to-end internal recruitment services, including candidate management, support for hiring managers and selection panels, review of position descriptions, advertising, scribing, file management, and reporting.
Essential requirements
9. Minimum of two years' experience working in a specialist recruitment ICT environment.
10. Previous experience in recruitment coordination within an APS and/or public service context is highly desired.
11. Qualifications in human resources and/or relevant experience in government recruitment or equivalent are highly desirable.
